Valley of Flowers
Valley of Flowers is a high altitude Himalayan valley that is home to around 600 species of flowers. With a stunning backdrop of the mighty Himalayan Ranges, Valley of Flowers presents an mesmerizing view and surreal experience to all the visitors. In 1980, Government of India names it Valley of Flowers National Park and in 2002, UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site, being the only one on the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand, India.
One of the most popular treks of the country, originally known as the Bhyundar Valley, named after Bhyundar village, the valley is situated at an altitude of 3600m in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. A person who has not stepped his foot in Himalayas, knows about the valley and has a dream to walk in between the different species of flowers.
