Port Blair is the capital city of the Andaman and Nicobar Island, a union territory of India in the Bay of Bengal. It is also the local administrative sub-division (Tehsil) of the islands, the headquarters for the district of South Andaman and is the territory’s only notified town. Port Blair is also famous for the historic Cellular Jail and other small islands like Corbyn’s Cove, Wandoor Ross Island, Viper Island and so forth, which were once home to British colonists. Port Blair has been selected as one of the cities to be developed as a smart city under the Smart cities Mission. 

Havelock island, officially known as Swaraj Dweep, is one of the largest islands in Ritchie’s Archipelago to the east of Great Andaman within the Andaman Island. It belongs to the South Andaman administrative district part of the Indian union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Island. The island is 41 km (25 mi) northeast of the capital city, Port Blair.

             Havelock is famed for beguiling mankind all over the world. Claiming a great parcel of earth, at around one hundred and fourteen square kilometres, this paradisiacal islet is home to the Ritchie’s Archipelago besides five other charming tourist villages.

              This pristine island is one of the gem places to visit in Andaman and Nicobar and also known for being one of the scuba diving sites in India.While underwater one can witness species like Humpback Parrot Fish, Lion-fish and Soft Corals.

Neil Island is one of the many beautiful islands in the Andaman Archipelago. Currently, it is known as Shaheed Dweep after PM Shri Narendra Modi renamed Neil Island to Shaheed Dweep on the 30th of December 2018. The island is located about 37 km by sea route from Port Blair and is one of the major attractions of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
